A science fiction imprint that has been creating exciting, adventure-driven stories since 1982.
We started out as a play-by-mail game in the 80’s and now we are building an epic science fiction multiverse rooted in Takamo lore.
Any moment in the Takamo timeline is one part of a whole - a spark in a complex, limitless, gestalt universe. Takamo encapsulates the past, present and future, the whole and the part, the oblivious and the sentient, the base and the exalted. It holds the history of the known and the unknown.

“Excellent world building, plot, and character development. Delighted the author could write from an alien point of view and still make it all understandable and accessible.”

“AR Draeger joins the growing list of Takamo Universe authors with a tale about a reckless ex-military pilot forced to do some nefarious spy stuff to save her brother. She doesn't exactly have a plan but she plunges ahead anyway, and to add to her troubles, she has to deal with underworld elements and a dogooder cop. This is a fast-moving tale with a lot of humor. It is not a long story and I read it in an evening. It left me wanting more and the "To be continued" ending gives me hope that I will be seeing sequels. A very good addition to the Takamo Universe Library. “

“Just finished Empire’s Rift, a rip-roaring sci-fi adventure. The space combat is believable and exciting, the characters sympathetic, and the politics engrossing. Lt. Tag Wester grows from a callow and rash pilot to an empathetic character, and several characters are literally transformed. Author Steve Rzasa creates a host of interplanetary forces, each with its own motives and schemes. There is, of course, a love story, too. This book introduced me to the Takamo Universe, and I am already reading more.”

“This was such a great read. I'm really enjoying the Takamo Universe books, and this one was no different. I've never read anything by Shona Husk before, so this was a great introduction to her. After reading some other fictional works based on Mars, this one caught my eye. I'm glad I decided to read it. It's about a war between two Martian factions -- the tech-loving, self-augmenting, in-charge faction and those that seek a simpler and less commercial life. This short story set shows the progression through the sometimes intellectual, sometimes violent war.”
